Ashford Castle

It's not every day one gets to stay in a castle, especially one that happens to be a 5 star hotel. What can I say I am one lucky girl. I left the honeymoon planning up to my hubby, and boy did he do an awesome job. We spent four relaxing days at the Ashford Castle Hotel, it is in County Mayo  on the gorgeous west coast of Ireland. We even got to try our hand at fishing in the Loch, not much luck but I did see the hugest salmon jump out of the water, it was very exciting.  The sun came out a few times too, which was such a treat.
